New Regulations: Title IX Final Rule
In accordance with The U.S. Department of Education’s 2024 Title IX Final Rule, we have implemented new policy for Sex Discrimination, Sexual Misconduct and Other Prohibited Conduct Grievance Procedures, effective August 1, 2024.
Promoting Safety and Equity
Upon notice, Adelphi University will act to end the discrimination, harassment or retaliation, prevent its recurrence, and remedy its effects on the victim and our community. Our Title IX Office is here to:
- Receive, manage, and investigate reports of sexual misconduct from the community
- Implement appropriate measures to restore equity
- Oversee and facilitate Adelphi’s Formal and Informal Grievance processes
- Educate the Adelphi Community about their rights and resources on and off campus
- Support existing University procedures and community values
- Help create a diverse and inclusive educational environment
