Learning moves from the classroom to the broader campus and into New York City for Honors College students.

The Honors College generously supports students keen to experience the rich culture of the region by supplying $10 tickets to major Broadway shows, operas, concerts, plays and dance performances.

Cultural Events and Trips

With New York City a short train ride away, Honors students have long taken advantage of the available museums, theaters and concert halls. Every year students see plays, musicals, operas, and concerts and they visit museums, libraries, and parks. Sapere Aude! Dare to know within and beyond the classroom!

Cultural Events at Adelphi

On-campus, we have a long history of gathering students to discuss important books and literature.

Honors students enjoy, support and participate in live and screened opera and theater events as well as performances like the Jazz Ensemble and Best of Broadway. Our students also attend campus-wide and departmental lectures and events.
