Michael J. Campbell ’65
Mike Campbell earned his BA in Economics at Adelphi in 1965, and later earned an MBA in Finance from New York University. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1968, having achieved the rank of Captain.
Campbell was a managing director, client advisor, of Dominick & Dominick LLC, founded in 1870 and one of the early firms to join the New York Stock Exchange. He joined that firm as president and CEO after serving as the managing director and head of the Private Client Services Group at Credit Suisse First Boston. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he spent 27 years as an investment professional, branch manager and head of that firm’s Private Client Services division.
Campbell served as a member of the Adelphi University Board of Trustees from 2000 to 2012 and in 2005–2008 served as chairman of the board. He also served on the Board of Overseers of the Wellesley Centers for Women and the Ms. Foundation for Women.
