Loretta Cangialosi ’80
Loretta Cangialosi ’80 is Vice Chair of the Adelphi University Board of Trustees. A retired Senior Vice President and Controller at Pfizer, Inc., she is a certified public accountant and was a senior financial executive with over 30 years experience providing guidance to management. At Pfizer, she actively provided guidance with respect to the strategic direction and transformation of the Finance organization, the accounting and financial reporting of the company, information technology systems, compliance activities and business development activities and worked cross-functionally throughout Pfizer to achieve results. Before joining Pfizer in 1993, she was a senior manager with KPMG in its New York audit group.
In 2013, she was elected to the Adelphi University Board of Trustees. A generous benefactor of the University, Cangialosi has established multimillion-dollar endowments that support deserving students with financial need, drive initiatives to enhance innovation at the University, facilitate internships and real-world experiences for students, and support leadership activities and professional development for Adelphi students, including underwriting the cost of their attendance at the University’s annual Women’s Leadership Conference.
In 2013, Cangialosi was recognized as an outstanding alumna at the annual President’s Gala.
