Awards
Essay Contest
Each spring to date, the WGC has conducted an essay contest for graduating undergraduate and graduate students (male and female). Typically, though not always, the winner is presented with a check from the Women’s Giving Circle in May. Our most recent essay question was: “How have you personally been involved in philanthropic efforts while a student at Adelphi? Describe your involvement and what you have learned from your experience. Looking ahead, how will philanthropy fit into your life beyond Adelphi?”
