The Senior Legacy Campaign encourages all senior class members to participate to ensure the Class of 2025 leaves a meaningful legacy.
The funds will provide a scholarship to Panthers with financial need. If we raise $25,000, the University will match it dollar for dollar, resulting in a $50,000 endowment, ensuring our Class’s impact will continue to resonate in perpetuity.
Every gift will count towards The Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact.Â
All donations of $5 or more will receive a commencement cord.
Ways to Support the Senior Legacy Campaign
Brick – $500
Receive a custom engraved brick in the University Center’s Garden Terrace. Your paver will become a permanent part of campus. 4 lines or 32 characters each, including spaces. All messages must be in English and are subject to University approval. Use // between lines.
Commencement Ribbon Message – $250
Receive a ribbon congratulatory ad that will be displayed across the top of Nassau Coliseum’s arena throughout Commencement. 145 characters maximum, including spaces. All messages must be in English and are subject to University approval.
The deadline for congratulatory messages is May 14, 2025.
Commencement Jumbotron Message – $120.25
Receive a congratulatory ad on the Jumbotron at Nassau Coliseum that will be displayed before and after Commencement. 2 lines or 32 characters each, including spaces. All messages must be in English and are subject to University approval. Use // between lines.

Why Should I Give?
There are so many reasons to give to the Senior Legacy Campaign. Here are a few:
- Be a part of something bigger than yourself. You may think that a gift of $20.25 or any smaller amount couldn’t possibly make a difference, but what if everyone in your group of friends teamed up to show their support of Adelphi? What if every student in our class made a gift? When combined with the participation of our entire class, your gift will make a tremendous difference.
- Leave your mark on campus. Our class gift is going to make an Adelphi education a reality for students for years to come. What better way to give than to leave a legacy that will last on campus forever?
- Increase the value of your degree. Many publications, such as U.S. News & World Report, look at alumni giving percentages to determine national rankings for colleges and universities. The stronger Adelphi’s student and alumni support is, the higher our national ranking becomes. This adds value to your degree, and will set you apart in the eyes of potential employers in the years to come.
- Pay it forward. Whether we realize it or not, donations alumni have made through the years have helped support the opportunities we had at the University. Now it’s our turn to continue the Adelphi tradition and provide resources for future students.
