Katherine Littlefield headshotKatherine Littlefield, general partner and chair of the Hagedorn Partnership, is director of ScottsMiracle-Gro, the world’s largest lawn and garden company.

In addition to her role at this multinational corporation, she has also provided leadership in philanthropic pursuits. Littlefield has served as a member of the boards of The Pennington School, a coeducational day and boarding school for grades six through 12, located in Pennington, New Jersey; and the Hagedorn Family Foundation Inc., which seeks to support and promote social equity on Long Island. This charitable organization works collaboratively with diverse and inclusive communities and partners to create positive change.

A member of the Adelphi University Board of Trustees from 2005 to 2011, she has distinguished herself through her outstanding commitment and loyal service to the University. Littlefield, who also served as secretary of the board, was co-chair of the steering committee for The Campaign for Adelphi, the first comprehensive fundraising campaign in the University’s history.

Nothing demonstrates progress and change like the sight of a new building. Adelphi fosters a remarkable creative spirit in so many of its students. Supporting facilities is my way of contributing to that spirit.
