I am interested in Quaternary geology and geoarchaeology, primarily focusing on landscapes that were influenced by Pleistocene glaciations, the effects of climate change on modern-day glaciers and landforms, and characterizing sediments and landforms associated with archaeological sites.
I am involved in active research projects in Iowa and Minnesota, and I have worked in Alaska and Michigan as well.
