Symbols of Solidarity Art Lab

Social Movements throughout history have used graphics and slogans to broadcast their messages to the world and to allow followers of the movement to show that they stood in solidarity with the movement without ever saying a word. The Multicultural Center will have art supplies for you to create your own symbol of solidarity, either inspired by historical imagery or completely original to you. Whether you want to decorate a canvas, a flag, a stole, or anything else. We will also be raffling off a denim jacket to create your own battle jacket, a proud part of many social movements from the last century!
