Become a powerful voice for change, advocating for social justice and improving the lives of the communities you serve.

Dr. Elizabeth Palley, the Director of the Doctoral Program in the School of Social Work, will lead this virtual information session on the Adelphi University Social Work PhD program. This session includes information about the program requirements, the course schedule, opportunities for tuition assistance, a description of the core courses, and a description of the journey through our PhD program.

The Adelphi University School of Social Work PhD program expands your capacities to conceptualize, develop, evaluate and disseminate knowledge of the problems that impact the human condition—and strategies designed to change those conditions. In becoming a social work scholar, you must develop a critical and sophisticated understanding of the historical, global, national and community forces that shape contemporary human experience and social work practice.
