For this week’s weekly meeting we will be hosting an event with Alphi Psi Omega that will showcase the play “School Girls: Or, the African Mean Girls Play by Jocelyn Bioh presented by Alpha Psi Omega Theater club. The play won the 2018 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play, The Outer Critics Circle John Gassner Award for New American Playwright[13] and the Dramatists Guild Hull-Warriner Award. The recorded MCC production features Adelphi University Department of Theatre and APO Alum Mirirai Sithole as Mercy. Mirirai won a Lucille Lortel award for her performance!”
