Dean Dinan will lead a Dean’s Circle conversation on the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, English by Sanaz Toossi.
This sharp and witty comedy, English, unfolds in an Iranian classroom where adult English learners prepare for their proficiency exam. As they navigate a linguistic playground, their wildly different dreams, frustrations, and secrets come to light. Can they overcome the limits of language to discover what they truly want to say?
This event is open to students in the Honors College only.
Register in advance. Lunch will be provided.
A group of honors students will also attend a performance of English at the Roundabout Theatre on Saturday, February 22 at 2:00pm.
