Join us for an engaging workshop where you’ll explore the technology at your disposal as an Adelphi First Year Student.

From cybersecurity to cloud computing, we’ll guide you through the essentials needed to be a collaborative, communicative and problem-solving Panther. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast or a curious beginner, this workshop is your ticket to IT excellence at Adelphi.

Join Evan Watchmaker from Adelphi’s Information Technology Team in this PATH workshop aimed at First Year Students. Together, via Zoom, we’ll discuss all the technology available to you at Adelphi from A-Z and how to leverage it in your college journey.

Leading off with the most common technology used in the classroom, we’ll dive deep into Moodle, Zoom, Google Apps and more. Then moving into some applications that will help you outside the classroom like Apporto, Copilot, and the Adelphi mobile app. And finally we’ll touch on some specialty software that might give you a leg up when it comes to research and presentations. Questions are certainly welcome, feel free to come with a list of your own.

Evan Watchmaker is IT’s Academic Solutions Engineer, an Adelphi Alum, a First Year Seminar Instructor, and has nearly 10 years’ experience working on campus with students and faculty.
