Join us for a day navigating your students college campus and hearing from our campus departments and resources that are here to support your student.

Join us on Friday, August 23 for an engaging and informative day designed especially for you, where you’ll discover everything you need to support your student’s journey at Adelphi. From insightful sessions led by our experienced faculty and staff to interactive workshops covering campus resources and student life, this orientation promises to equip you with essential tools and insights.

Explore our beautiful campus, connect with other parents and families, and get a firsthand look at the vibrant community your student will be a part of. Mark your calendars for a day filled with valuable information, warm hospitality, and opportunities to build connections that will enhance your Adelphi experience.

11:00am – 12:30pm

Optional Open Office Hours

  • Academic Advisors are available to answer questions in the Nexus Building in room 145.
  • Public Safety staff will be available to grant students their parking permit or student ID in Levermore Hall, room 113.
  • One-Stop advisors can help with enrollment, financial aid, academic record, billing, and account questions. Stop by the One Stop Student Services Center in the lower level of Levermore Hall.
  • Visit the Bookstore located on the University Center’s first floor to grab some Adelphi swag! 

12:00pm – 1:30pm

Parent and Family Orientation Check-In

Check in the Center for Recreation and Sports Lobby to receive your official welcome schedule and giveaway.

Campus Tours

Join Adelphi University tour guides for a refresher of campus! Learn where your classes are and the best spots to eat and study on campus!

Campus Tours will leave from the Check-In Tent on Flag Pole Lawn. Rain Location: Center for Recreation and Sports

Parent and Family Welcome

Join us in the Performing Arts Center Concert Hall for a heartfelt address to every parent and family member, acknowledging the vital role you play in your child’s life and education. This ceremony is an opportunity to connect with fellow parents and forge bonds that will support you through this transition.

Navigate Your Student’s College Campus Adventure

Curious about specific areas of your student’s college experience? Tailor your own exploration during our afternoon of informative sessions hosted by various campus departments.

Parent & Family Reception

Join us in the Center for Recreation and Sport, Campbell Lounges for a relaxed mixer with University administration, the Parent and Families Association, and more. Light refreshments will be served.
