Join the Nassau Chapter of The New York State Society of CPAs for a panel discussion and networking event.
NYS Society of CPAS: Nassau Chapter is hosting its annual CPA Fest/Job Fair for Students on November 13 in Westbury, Long Island.
This annual event has been very successful for students in providing them with valuable information about our profession via listening to a panel of interns, first-year graduates and seasoned professionals. It is an informal Q&A session and provides students an open forum to ask questions about the different fields of accounting, the panelist’s experience, etc.
Following the panel is a networking event where approximately 15 firms have booths with their firm information and offer opportunities for internships and new hire positions by collecting resumes from the students. This gives students experience in networking with firm professionals, learning more about the opportunities they offer and in addition, there is a raffle to win discounts to CPA review courses.
