There is no one food that can prevent illness but in this micro session, you can learn how to adopt a healthy lifestyle to strengthen your immune system. We will discuss a variety of foods including, yes- chicken soup!
About the Speaker
Rachel Taniey PhD, RD, CDN
Professor Taniey is a registered dietitian with 15 years of experience working with families and children in community and clinical settings. She is an Assistant Professor in the Nutrition Program for the College of Education and Health Sciences at Adelphi, and completed a doctoral program at the CUNY Graduate School for Public Health and Health Policy in May 2020. Her research interests include food insecurity / food assistance programs among underserved populations
