A solo exhibition of paintings made by Professor Kellyann Monaghan.

The exhibition will include small plein-air paintings created in the last year and during Professor Kellyann Monaghan’s spring 2025 sabbatical. The paintings depict the sweeping landscapes of the California National Parks—Yosemite, Kings Canyon, coastal Big Sur Area, plus the Cape Cod Coastal areas. Professor Monaghan’s paintings depict the landscape’s beauty and power while examining the effects of climate change.

This exhibition is a part of a two-part exhibition of Kellyann Monaghan’s sabbatical work; a more extensive painting exhibition will be on display in the Klapper University Center Gallery in October 2025.
