Inauguration of the New Name SPARK Center: Scholars Pursuing Arts, Research and Knowledge and Introduction of the Scholar Passport

Under the leadership of its director Justyna Widera-Kalinowska, professor of chemistry, at the start of the Spring 2025 semester the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Works will be renamed the SPARK Center for Undergraduates (Scholars Pursuing Arts, Research and Knowledge). Professor Widera-Kalinowska has many plans in the works to help this office grow and flourish, and this new name is one way to generate stronger name recognition and excitement for the scholarly and creative opportunities available to our students.

All undergraduate students are invited to come and meet with the SPARK Director Dr. Widera-Kalinowska to celebrate the new name and find out how to get involved with the SPARK Center. Please come and learn about the SPARK Undergraduate Scholar Passport recognizing undergraduate student activity in scholarly and creative work.
