This multidisciplinary forum brings together several faculty members who will reflect on different elements of the current moment as we reach the 100-day mark of the 2nd Trump Administration.
- Are we witnessing the transformation of the US-led, rules-based international order?
- Are the global trade system and open global economy moribund?
- Is the US in the midst of a constitutional crisis, and how would we know if we are?
- What historical frameworks might help us understand the contemporary challenges to democratic/liberal institutions?
Dr. Ed Reno, History, will be moderating a multidisciplinary panel on the contemporary political moment. This forum brings together several faculty members who will reflect on different elements of the current moment as we reach the 100-day mark of the 2nd Trump Administration.
