Join us on Zoom for the Coping with the Holidays forum. Cara Livoti, LCSW, Social Worker at NYU Langone’s Pearlmutter Cancer Center will be discussing different ways to cope with stress during the holiday season.
About Our Speaker:
Cara A. Livoti is a licensed clinical social worker from Long Island, NY and a 2009 graduate of Adelphi University with a master’s degree in social work. Cara has been a part of the NYU Langone Long Island care team since 2011 with extensive experience in supporting not only her patients, but their caregivers and loved ones as well. She began her work inpatient at NYU Langone Long Island with various patient populations throughout the hospital. In 2021 she made the move to working specifically with the breast cancer patient population at NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center Long Island. Cara is well-versed in the resources available through NYU PCC and the community for her breast cancer patients and takes great pride in providing comprehensive psychosocial care to those with which she works. She especially enjoys facilitating the Long Island PCC breast cancer support groups twice a month via zoom. In her spare time, Cara enjoys spending time with her family (especially her 5-month-old daughter Marina), virtual reality boxing, and attending Broadway musicals.
