Bring Your Child to Work Day

This special event offers a fun and educational experience designed to spark curiosity, encourage learning, and foster creativity. Your children will have the opportunity to participate in engaging activities, interactive demonstrations, and get a behind-the-scenes look at Adelphi in action.

Workshop Highlights:

• Robotics Builder: Create, Code, Conquer! Build and code LEGO robots that complete fun driving tasks to learn the basics of engineering and creative design.
• Healing Hands: A Nursing Simulation Lab Experience: Explore our high-tech SIM Lab, interact with lifelike mannequins, and discover how nurses save lives.
• Find Your Colorful Mark! Art Adventure Workshop: Create artwork inspired by Alma Thomas (younger students) and Vincent Van Gogh (older students) to explore expressive color, light, and texture.
• Move & Groove Studio: Music and Dance Workshop: Experience live dance and music, try out instruments, and learn some choreography.
• Gizmo Gurus: Explore Computers and 3D Printing: Take apart computers, explore retro games, and see a 3D printer in action.
• Physics FunLab: Experiment, Discover, Explore! Try exciting experiments in sound, light, and motion—like how an upside-down roller coaster works or how to send sound with lasers.

With something for everyone, this promises to be an unforgettable experience for the special children in your life (ages 8-15). We can’t wait to see you and your children on this exciting day!
