Event Actions
Acne is a common skin condition that affects millions of people worldwide, but is often stigmatized and misunderstood. Acne is not a one-size-fits-all condition and can affect people of all ages; not just teens and young adults.
During his presentation, Dr. Navin Arora, DO, FAAD, of Borealis Dermatology, will cover the different types of skin acne, as well as educate attendees about the underlying causes of acne, which is crucial in managing and preventing breakouts. These factors can include hormones, diet and lifestyle factors, such as stress, as well as family genetics.
He will also discuss various treatment options available for patients dealing with acne, including topical treatments, oral medications, light and laser therapies, chemical peels, extraction, home care and lifestyle changes.
