Karen Webster-Meyer
Karen Webster-Meyer is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of experience, having served as a Vice President at Citi on Long Island, NY. Starting her career at the Royal Bank of Trinidad & Tobago, she swiftly moved into leadership roles and earned her bachelor’s in business management from Adelphi University. Post-graduation, Karen worked in the retail and telecommunications industries before joining Citi, where she managed successful branches and mentored diverse teams in numerous leadership roles.
Recognized for her leadership, Karen was invited to join a women’s cohort called Black Women at Citi – a joint workstream between the Black Heritage and Citi Women affinities – which focused on the engagement of Black women at Citi, professional development for Black women, and education for managers and peers. Karen’s commitment to professional growth extends beyond her corporate roles, as evidenced by her involvement in mentoring programs, such as the mentorship program at Adelphi University, and leadership conferences, such as Adelphi’s Women’s Leadership Conference. She holds an MBA specializing in Human Resources and was recently hired into the leadership team at New York Life.
