Research, studies and common sense all tell us that cooperative learning is an effective and arguably, crucial, part of pedagogy and course design.

Yet, many of us avoid it just because when it doesn’t work well, it can sometimes hinder learning or just be too difficult to manage. This workshop will help take away some of the mystery and dread surrounding cooperative learning by providing you with a toolkit that ensures the group work that takes place in your classroom not only aligns with your learning objectives but also creates community and fun!

Facilitator:

  • Jen Southard, Instructional Designer, FCPE

This event is for Adelphi University faculty and staff.
