A Virtual Reading of “A Christmas Carol”
Event Actions
Under the direction of Brian Rose, Adelphi University’s Department of Theatre brings the Victorian classic to your home as a 1930s radio style dramatic reading.
In 1843, Charles Dickens’ novella A Christmas Carol was published, and the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge has touched the heart of readers and audiences ever since. Every holiday season, Adelphi University’s Department of Theatre brings the Victorian classic to your home as it would have been performed in a radio studio in the 1930s, as a dramatic reading.
Free registration (using the link above) is required for this event.
This live event will be re-broadcast on the Department of Theatre and PAC Facebook pages at 2:00 p.m. on the 12th.
