SPARK Center Faculty Workshop: Incorporating Undergraduate Research Into the Curriculum
Event Actions
Enhance your undergraduate curriculum by incorporating their research and passion–join us for lunch and a workshop!
All faculty are invited to a discussion and workshop on integrating research and research approaches into undergraduate classes and curricula. Undergraduate research is a high-impact practice that contributes to student success and educational equity. Join us for a brainstorming session led by faculty colleagues from a variety of disciplines who have experience incorporating research into their classes.
All faculty members interested in incorporating undergraduate research into the classroom—experienced research mentors and those looking to get started—are welcome.
Lunch will be provided. We will discuss what is currently being done to integrate research and research approaches into undergraduate classes, the challenges of doing this, and ideas on how to do it more widely. Please RSVP in advance.
Sponsored by the SPARK Center (Scholars Pursuing Arts, Research and Knowledge). With questions, contact Justyna Widera-Kalinowska (widera@adelphi.edu) or Lawrence Hobbie (hobbie@adelphi.edu).
