A workshop for Adelphi University faculty.

The workshop will include a discussion of action research and of scholarly teaching, in which data that we are already collecting as we teach is used to inform our educational choice making and potentially develop our teaching practice in meaningful ways.

This presentation will include methods of incorporating the scholarship of teaching into UPRC guidelines.

RSVP is appreciated but not required for attendance.

Facilitators

The workshop will be led by:

  • Emily Kang (Education)
  • Robert Jordan (Music Education)

Recordings and presentations from the previous four workshops in this series, on backwards course design, assessment and evaluation, engaging and inclusive teaching, and active and collaborative learning, are available on the intranet, and a recording of this workshop will be posted to the same site if you can’t make the workshop.

Sponsored by the Faculty Senate Committee on Teaching and Advisement and the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office.

If you have any questions, please contact Lawrence Hobbie at hobbie@adelphi.edu.
