Skylar Hosman (Scrubjay) of the Chickaloon Native Village in Matanuska Valley, Alaska will be visiting demonstrating how to make a Native American Beaded Necklace. All supplies are sponsored by Adelphi’s Anthropology and Art departments

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Nats’iizaghe’ Snelyaayi Snultsiil De’ (We’re going to make a beaded necklace). Skylar Hosman (Scrubjay) of the Nay’dini’aa Na’ Kayax (Chickaloon Native Village) in Matanuska Valley, Alaska will be leading the attendees on Wednesday, November 6th from 1pm to 2pm in the PAC 215 on how to make a Native American style beaded necklace. Each person will leave with their own beaded necklace. All supplies will be provided.
