Gene McCarthy has had a distinguished career spanning executive roles in the athletic and outdoor industries at iconic brands like ASICS, Under Armour, Nike, and Reebok. As the former President and CEO of ASICS America, Gene brings a wealth of experience and insights. Currently, Gene is the Founder & CEO of Top League Advisory. He also has served on various boards and has authored a book titled “Chasing Four. A Personal History of Work and Play.”
Ron Staffieri, former CEO of several retail chains
Ron Staffier has successfully driven operational strategies and delivered results in start-ups, growth companies, and turnaround situations. Ron has held senior positions in both the department store industry and several regional and national specialty retail chains, including executive roles at Things Remembered, KB Toys, Borders, and Michaels Stores. Ron is a double Adelphi alumnus, with this BBA and MBA in Marketing and Finance.
About the Leadership Certificate Program
This event is part of the Leadership Certificate Program (LCP) for Adelphi University undergraduate and graduate students. It provides opportunities to develop leadership and professional skills. Simply start attending workshops, and your attendance will be logged for you as long as you complete the post-workshop evaluation, which will be emailed to you after attending the workshop. All evaluations will come from leadership@adelphi.edu.
