Students who are interested in Guided Research and Creative Works will learn how to find an interesting research project and a faculty member to serve as their research advisor.

Please come and learn from the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Works (OURCW). A variety of questions will be answered to demystify undergraduate research, for example:

  • What are the benefits of participating in research/creative works?
  • How do I find an interesting research project that will serve my long-term professional goals?
  • How do I find a research advisor?
  • How to apply to join a research project?
  • Do I qualify to do research?
  • Can I do research for credit?
  • Can I get paid to do research?

The mission of the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Works (OURCW) is to support students and faculty in performing inquiry-driven, creative research projects and participating in global scholarly discussions about nationally and internationally important topics.
