Failure to uphold these responsibilities will result in termination from the position:

All PALs, WWCs, FCAP Leaders, are required to attend mandatory training during the summer intersession.

All PALs and WWCs are required to attend Academic Connections Day and Midsummer Meet Up (July 12) during the summer intersession.

All PALs are required to reach out to their mentees consistently throughout the summer intersession and throughout their first year at Adelphi. This includes sending emails, text messages, creating a GroupMe chat, and phone calls when necessary.

All PALs will give presentations to First Year Seminar courses on various topics related to student life at Adelphi.

All PALs, WWCs, FCAP Leaders, and CAs are expected to remain in good disciplinary and academic standing with the University during their time of employment.

All PALs and CAs are required to volunteer at all large-scale campus events (Welcome Weekend, Spirit Weekend, Holiday Lighting, Relay for Life, Take Back the Night, and Spring Concert).
PAL, WWC, and FCAP Leader training will take place from August 12-16, 2024. Attendance at training is mandatory to be considered for this position.

CA training will take place from August 5-6, 2024. Attendance at training is mandatory to be considered for this position.

FCAP Leaders are required to attend the FCAP Program held on August 19-21, 2024. Attendance is mandatory to be considered for this position.

PALs and WWCs are required to attend Welcome Weekend, held from August 22-25. Attendance is mandatory to be considered for this position.
