Scott Storbo Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Scott Storbo Endowed Scholarship was established to celebrate the life of Scott Storbo, a loving husband, successful public relations executive and avid world traveler.
Mr. Storbo was an enthusiastic and life-loving Canadian with strong ethics, dignity and honor. He passed away on July 10, 2021, just shy of his 53rd birthday. His husband, Martin Lubell ’72, wishes to honor Scott by establishing this scholarship in his memory.
This award aims to provide resources for an undergraduate student who self-identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and who is pursuing a pre-medical course of study at Adelphi, with preference given to a gay male.
The Scott Storbo Endowed Scholarship Fund recipient must meet the following criteria:
- Be an undergraduate student at Adelphi
- Pursuing a pre-medical course of study
- Self-identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community
- Preference given to a gay male
