Adelphi University’s 129th Commencement will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Doctoral Hooding will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 on our main Garden City campus.

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from Adelphi University!

Adelphi’s 2025 Commencement will be celebrated with two ceremonies, held at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, on Tuesday, May 20. Undergraduate candidates will be recognized at our 10:30 a.m. ceremony and graduate candidates at our 3:30 p.m. ceremony.

Each graduate will receive 10 guest tickets to the ceremony.

Application for Graduation

All students who plan to attend one of Adelphi’s 2025 Commencement ceremonies must complete the application for graduation candidacy. After successfully completing this application, you will receive an email from MarchingOrder in the Spring 2025 semester with instructions for registering to take part in one of our May ceremonies.

December 2024 and May 2025 grads: It’s time to schedule your senior portraits! Multiple dates are available by appointment—a $10 appointment fee will be applied toward your purchase. Caps and gowns will be provided at your appointment, and all seniors who sit for photos will be included in the yearbook. This is also a great opportunity to capture a professional headshot! Email seniors@adelphi.edu with any questions.
