Doctoral candidates are invited to be recognized at the 2024 Doctoral Hooding Ceremony on Monday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on our Garden City Campus.
Your hooding ceremony is not just a celebration of academic accomplishment, but also a testament to the tenacity and determination of our doctoral graduates as they embark on their next great adventures.

Academic Regalia
Academic regalia—tams, gowns and tassels—are required for candidates at Adelphi’s Doctoral Hooding ceremony. Any questions about academic attire should be directed to the bookstore at bookstore@adelphi.edu.
Candidates should arrive at check-in completely dressed in regalia, except for hoods.

Parking and Arrival Details
When arriving at Adelphi’s Garden City campus for your Doctoral Hooding ceremony, please park in Parking Lot 2 (P2). Proceed into the lobby of the Performing Arts Center.
