School of Business Dean's Student Advisory Council
Our student leaders are an important component of Willumstad life.
The student-led Dean’s Student Advisory Council acts as the voice of business students, working closely with the dean and administrators to share student viewpoints, recommend improvements, and promote Willumstad programs.
Membership
Membership on the council is limited to 20 students, who are appointed for the academic year (August through May). Willumstad graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to apply and appointments are renewable.
Roles and Responsibilities
Council members meet with faculty members and administrators to help them understand student needs and develop solutions. Discussion topics can include academic policies, degree requirements, research and internship opportunities, and job recruiting events.
