Elizabeth and Allen Don Center for Innovative Technology and Decision Sciences

The Elizabeth and Allen Don Center provides funding and encouragement for knowledge and scholarship in technology, innovation and decision sciences.

The Don Center acts as a greenhouse for new ideas to advance our programs. We seek to develop:

• Scholarship on strategic ways that innovation and technology can benefit businesses
• Curricula in areas like informatics, analytics, supply chain and healthcare
• Process improvements for business systems using innovative technology
• Workshops, case studies and seminars that spotlight innovation

Each semester, the Don Center invites industry experts who share their insights on how technology transforms today’s business environment. Past events have included lectures with Greg Polcer, global supply chain leader at Estée Lauder, and Osman Ahmed, PhD, a principal technical advisor at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Faculty members are encouraged to submit funding proposals to a review committee for initiatives whose objectives align with the goals and objectives of the center.
