The Adelphi University Communications and Marketing Advisory Board is an advisory group to the University Communications and Marketing team.
Advisory Board members include Adelphi alumni and friends who can share invaluable industry expertise to help University Communications and Marketing with their strategic vision and planning in support of the Momentum 2 strategic plan.

Nefertiti Anderson ’12
Nefertiti “Neffy” Anderson is a sought-after speaker, social media strategist and content creator who specializes in helping entrepreneurs and brands use multimedia storytelling to achieve their business goals.
During her career at Black Entertainment Television (BET), she served as a network correspondent and social media lead, interviewing big names like Nick Cannon and spearheading digital campaigns for shows such as the BET Awards, 106 & Park and Black Girls Rock. Anderson balances a career in front and behind the camera as the creator, producer and host of her own roster of YouTube programming, including “The Path Less Traveled Series,” an inspiring web series that spotlights entrepreneurs with unconventional pathways to success.
Named as one of Innov8tiv Magazine’s “Top 100 Women Visionary Leaders to Watch” and Adelphi University’s 10 Under 10 Young Alumni, Anderson has been recognized by national outlets such as the American Marketing Association, Z100’s Elvis Duran Morning Show, Blavity, Mediabistro, the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications and more. Her global reach and ability to remain relevant in a changing world has allowed her to work with clients such as Verizon, Volkswagen, Samsung and the New York City Department of
Education.
Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Adelphi University. She lives, works and plays in New York, devoting much of her time as a public speaker, social media coach and consultant. Christian Campagnuolo ’94
Christian Campagnuolo is a seasoned leader with more than 25 years of strategic marketing leadership experience in building world-class brands that tell compelling stories and generate incredible demand.
Campagnuolo was the chief brand officer for EVERFI, an international technology company driving social change through education. He also served as CMO for Snagajob, the nation’s largest hourly worker marketplace. Earlier in his career, he was at Blackboard, where he led the company’s strategic marketing, global branding, and creative service teams. Before Blackboard, Campagnuolo built a successful advertising agency, creating award-winning campaigns for worldwide brands including EA Sports, The Orlando Magic, and British Telecom. He also spent seven years at Walt Disney Company, helping to brand and market one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations.
Taja Dockendorf ‘00
Taja Dockendorf ’00 is the Chief Creative Director of Pulp+Wire, an award-winning consumer packaging, branding and digital agency based in Portland, Maine. With a keen eye for design and a strategic approach to problem-solving, Taja has led Pulp+Wire since its inception in 2004, transforming it into one of the most respected and in-demand women-owned design firms in the Northeast.
Her innovative vision and collaborative leadership have been instrumental in the success of numerous CPG brands, from emerging start-ups to global corporations. Taja’s versatility as a designer and strategist allows her to navigate complex branding and marketing challenges, delivering visually compelling and functionally effective solutions. Pulp+wire has also been recognized as an Inc 5000 company, AdAge’s small agency of the year, and Inc Power Partner awards for their commitment and excellence in serving their clients. Beyond her work at Pulp+Wire, Taja is a passionate investor in brands and technologies that aim to create a more sustainable future.
In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Taja hosts the Brand Alchemist Podcast, where she engages with top brand owners to uncover their journeys and insights in the CPG space. She also contributes thought leadership articles on creativity, leadership, and brand development to Forbes, Entrepreneur, and Fast Company publications.
Taja’s dedication to her work is matched by her commitment to her family and community. She serves on the board for Naturally New England, supporting the growth of CPG brands, served on the board for the Susan Curtis Foundation for 10+ years supporting disadvantaged youth in Maine, and is an active sponsor of the Olympia Snowe Leadership Foundation for girls.

Kristin Lynch Graham
Kristin Lynch Graham has served as the president of Sacred Heart Academy since 2016. She is the first lay woman to lead the all-girls Catholic high school, which is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph on Long Island. As president, she is responsible for the overall advancement and strategic direction of the institution, which enrolls approximately 650 students and more than 12,000 alumnae.
Graham has an accomplished background in institutional advancement, alumni relations, strategic planning and communications. She had a 10-year career at Fordham University in the Office of Development and University Relations, where she was the first woman to be appointed as the director of alumni relations and later served as the assistant vice president for alumni relations and annual giving. Graham was also the director of leadership gifts at Columbia Law School and the director of development and alumni relations for The Schools of St. Mary in Manhasset, New York.
Graham holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English Literature and a master’s degree in education from Fordham University. She also completed an Executive Leadership program in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
Robin Rae Kravitz ’72
Robin Rae Kravitz ’72 maintains the boutique law practice of Kravitz Law PLLC, focusing primarily on advertising and promotions law, intellectual property protection and licensing, sweepstakes and contests, premiums, loyalty programs, e-commerce, data collection and use, privacy and writer/artist representation.
Before establishing the firm in 2004, Kravitz was senior vice president and general counsel, (Advertising and Marketing) at Bates Advertising USA; associate general counsel of Group Danone’s U.S. divisions (including The Dannon Company); senior counsel of the National Advertising Division of the BBB National Programs (a/k/a NAD), and vice president and assistant general counsel for Ted Bates Worldwide.
She has also been a commercial arbitrator and has counseled and arbitrated matters involving leading national advertisers, advertising agencies, Broadway producers, actors, directors, writers and artists, major publishers, art collectors and galleries as well as small businesses. She has served as an ADR neutral on approximately 200 advertising, entertainment and intellectual property disputes for the NAD and American Arbitration Association. Kravitz has recently been certified as a mediator in the New York courts. She is an active member of the New York City Bar Association (Small Law Firm, Arbitration, and Art Law Committees), the New York State Bar Association (Dispute Resolution Section), and has lectured and written articles on advertising, promotion, alternative dispute resolution and attorney advertising.
Eric Martin Jr. ’06, MBA ’08
Eric Martin Jr., a seasoned business and marketing executive, has managed business development, marketing, and growth for agency partners and brands, including MOET Hennessy and other top consumer brands. His journey has been one of continuous teaching of how culture and influencers have redefined today’s marketing efforts. Martin is excited to leverage his vast experience and strategic insights to further this advisory group’s collective goals.
With over 15 years of experience in the dynamic world of brand marketing and advertising, Martin has honed his skills in cultivating brand identity, executing impactful marketing campaigns and fostering lasting relationships with key stakeholders. His journey began in the vibrant startup scene, where he mastered the art of crafting compelling integrated marketing initiatives to engage audiences and foster brand loyalty. From there, he transitioned into agency life, managing diverse portfolios for high-profile clients such as Hennessy, Belvedere, Johnson & Johnson, HP, Twitter, DAZN and New Balance, further refining his strategic planning and creative development skills.
Martin has had the pleasure of leading multidisciplinary teams, driving innovation, and consistently delivering results that exceed expectations. Throughout his career, he has been driven by a fascination with the power of leadership, storytelling, a passion for disruption and a commitment to creating memorable brand experiences. Meanwhile, his educational background is rooted in business.
Ron Robinson ’87
Recognized as one of the world’s leading cosmetic chemists, Ron Robinson, CEO and founder of BeautyStat, set his goal to develop a revolutionary new technology to stabilize active ingredients such as pure vitamin C. After spending his career and five extensive years in the lab trying to solve this problem, he finally did. As a result, his brand, BeautyStat, was born with the world’s first 20 percent stable vitamin C serum, the Universal C Skin Refiner. No other product on the market contains the same potency.
Since its launch in 2019, BeautyStat has grown rapidly as a company, developing a line of award-winning skincare products, from the Universal Skin Refiner to eye cream, cleanser, moisturizer and facial oil. The line has won 11 beauty awards from Allure, Good Housekeeping, and Women’s Health. BeautyStat has had tremendous success on-shelf as it expands its distribution into several retailers, most notably, ULTA Beauty. In 2022, as a direct result of its sales performance and over-delivering on the sales forecast, BeautyStat went from being in 260 ULTA Beauty stores to more than 1,300 nationwide.
With over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry developing Clinique’s best-selling products, leading the product development roles for L’Oreal, Revlon, Avon, and advising on Hailey Bieber’s Rhode skincare line and having launched BeautyStat just three years ago, Robinson is only just getting started. He’s already won Glossy’s 2022 Glossy 50 award for being one of the industry’s biggest movers and shakers, the Byrdie Award for Best Formulator and the WWD BeautyInc Award: The Originals.
Jennifer Rosado
As Chief Customer Officer at JOOR—the world’s premier digital wholesale software platform—Jennifer Rosado is responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing the strategy for the client services teams, with a focus on building brand awareness, sales and growth marketing, and retention. At JOOR, she oversees a team of 35 managers and individual contributors across the brand’s operations organization. Jennifer has 20 years of experience in sales, operations, and marketing management in industries including finance, beauty, and media/technology.
Prior to JOOR, Jennifer provided her operational expertise to companies such as JPMorgan, Estee Lauder–Bumble and bumble, and L’Oreal, and to large-scale consumer marketplaces including XO Group.
Melanie Schutt ’95
Melanie Schutt is a seasoned marketer with deep experience in brand strategy and marketing communications. She currently runs her own marketing consultancy with clients across a broad range of industries. Prior to founding her own business, she was a senior vice president of branding and Communications at Citi, where she developed multiple successful programs and partnerships, leading them from idea to launch and expansion.
Earlier in her career, Schutt served as head of a relationship marketing team at AXA Equitable, conceptualizing and managing marketing initiatives that are still in place today. Melanie holds a BBA from Adelphi University and an MBA from New York University with dual specializations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. She is an active volunteer and provides pro bono marketing services through numerous non-profit board seats and committees.
Andrea Bertola Shaw ’03
Andrea Bertola Shaw is the founder of The New York Website Designer LLC, a highly successful digital marketing company. She was ranked as one of the top 10 web designers in the United States (2022) and named best web designer in New York City (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023). She has more than 16 years of experience designing and developing websites for businesses of all sizes. She has used her creativity to help multimillion-dollar businesses succeed in their digital marketing goals. She was thrilled when asked to serve on the Adelphi University Communications and Marketing Advisory Board.
