Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact Communication Guidelines
On September 21, 2024, Adelphi University publicly launched the largest fundraising campaign in its history at the 24th Annual President's Gala.
Guided by our strategic plan, Momentum 2, our comprehensive Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact will raise $100 million to continue our exceptional trajectory and Adelphi’s mission—to transform lives with commitment, innovation and student-centered inspiration.
Key Messages
- The $100 million campaign is the largest in Adelphi history.
- Donations will be used to support scholarships, academics, student experiences, campus improvements, diversity and needed initiatives through the Adelphi Fund.
- The campaign will run through 2027.
- The campaign is inspired and guided by our Momentum 2 strategic plan.
- The connection between the campaign and the strategic plan should be highlighted when possible.
- The campaign’s goal is to ensure that Adelphi will be able to continue making an extraordinary impact on students for generations to come.

- You can use The Momentum Campaign, Momentum Campaign or the campaign on subsequent mentions. Please note capital “The” when used in the middle of a sentence, for example, “The goal of The Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact … .”
- Always italicize Momentum.
