U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of colleges and universities was released today, and Adelphi University in New York moved into the top 150 in the National Universities category, jumping four places. Adelphi also dramatically improved its position in recently released rankings from the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education (up 27 spots), Money magazine (up 52 spots) and Niche (up 37 spots), while remaining on the selective Forbes list.
“It’s great that the upward trajectory of Adelphi is being recognized by these various rankings and guides,” said Kristen Capezza, M.B.A. ’12, associate vice president for enrollment management at Adelphi. “The fact that we are welcoming the largest and one of the most diverse incoming classes in our history this fall with notable growth in our out of state and international student populations is perhaps the best indicator that students and their families understand the value that our personalized approach to education creates. Adelphi is attracting increasing numbers of students from out of state and internationally.”
