Dear Adelphi Students and Families,

The Adelphi University Board of Trustees recently approved a 4 percent undergraduate tuition increase for the 2024–2025 academic year, bringing full-time undergraduate tuition to $47,270. In the coming year, all University fees will be held flat, and housing and meal plans will have increases of 2.5 percent and 3.5 percent, respectively. Graduate programs were also reviewed and adjusted within the context of their disciplines. More information and a full breakdown of the 2024–2025 tuition, fees, and housing and food costs can be found online.

University leadership regularly reviews budgeted expenses, minimizing costs while supporting important student services and the quality of learning at Adelphi. We continue to prioritize the goals of our Momentum 2 strategic plan, including: advancing the excellence of our academic programs; creating an inclusive community centered on student success; and focusing on smart growth and infrastructure.

We are proud of the award-winning resources and support we offer our students inside and outside of the classroom. Our relentless focus on student success is reflected in increased retention and graduation rates. And our rise in national rankings demonstrates the value of an Adelphi degree, including strong employment outcomes and higher-than-average starting salaries for our graduates. This past year, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes recognized us as the top private university on Long Island.

Meanwhile, we continue to provide as much financial aid as possible to our students, and awarded more than $115 million in institutional grants and scholarships in the 2023–2024 academic year. We recognize that our students are making a significant commitment to attend Adelphi, and our ultimate goal is to provide them with access, support and experiences to reach their full potential and achieve success during their time here and after graduation. We remain dedicated to all our students and their continued success.

As you plan for the upcoming 2024–2025 academic year, please note that Fall 2024 bills will be generated at the end of June, with a due date of July 21.
