Continuing Students
Adelphi students must reapply for aid each year during their time at Adelphi.
The priority deadline to submit your updated FAFSA is April 1.
- To reapply, you should submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online via studentid.gov/fafsa. If you submitted a FAFSA last year, you can choose the “Renewal FAFSA” option, which pre-fills most information into the form.
- New York State (NYS) residents should also resubmit the NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application at hesc.ny.gov. Our TAP school code is 0010.
- Upon filing your FAFSA, requests for additional documentation may be necessary. Prompt submission of all requested documentation will assist in maximizing your eligibility for institutional and campus-based assistance.
Following completion of the FAFSA and all application requirements, you receive your College Financing Plan detailing your financial aid for the upcoming academic year.
Throughout the year, we’ll send you helpful reminders to reapply for aid for the following academic year. Whether your financial aid eligibility has changed or you expect to receive the same aid package as last year, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office with any questions that you may have.
