Guide for Non-Degree Applicants
Students who wish to undertake course study, but who do not intend to become candidates for a degree are classified as non-degree students.

Application Fee
Adelphi’s nonrefundable application fee is $50.
Course Enrollment
Non-degree students are permitted to enroll in only those courses that have been specifically designated by departments as being available to such students. Individual exceptions require special permission by the coordinator of the program in which the student wishes to enroll and/or by the appropriate dean.
Non-degree students are limited to a maximum of 12 credits in courses regularly applicable to a graduate degree. Waiver of this limitation requires the appropriate dean’s approval.
