How to Apply to Adelphi University
Apply via the College of Professional and Continuing Studies Application to gain new skills for professional success—no matter your age, background or experience.
Our Academic Calendar lists starting dates for each semester. You should begin your application process at least two to three months prior to the semester in which you want to enroll.
- Fall semester: begin the application process in May
- Spring semester: begin the application process in October
Application Fee
Adelphi’s nonrefundable application fee is $50 for undergraduate study and $60 for graduate study.
Required Materials for Applicants
- Completed application for admission: Create an application account and complete the information requested.
- Personal statement or essay: Include an essay that demonstrates your intellectual promise and your motivation to engage in college-level work.
- Official high school transcript(s): This is only required for review for applicants with less than 30 college credits.
- Official college transcript(s): If you choose to enroll, we’ll eventually need your official transcripts — but for now, feel free to send along your unofficial copies for an expedited admissions decision. Include transcripts from any domestic and/or international colleges you’ve attended; past and present.
Admission to these programs is based on prior academic work and professional experience. They’re open to individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. College of Professional and Continuing Studies applicants in any degree or certificate program can apply using the same process.
