Find scholarships and grants from outside organizations.
In addition to the sources of gift aid from Adelphi, New York State and the federal government, you may also be eligible for a private scholarship or grant from an outside organization or agency.
Some sources to explore are employers, unions, professional organizations and community and special interest groups. Check with your high school counselor, public library and Chamber of Commerce for additional information.

Avoid Scholarship Scams
Beware of financial aid consultants, free seminars, and any other exaggerated claims. Much of the information offered is the most basic financial aid advice, which is readily available at no cost through numerous other venues.
