The Panther eBundle Program not only significantly reduces costs to the student, it also automatically provides the student with their digital courseware to ensure they have access by the first day of classes.

How It Works

For the Spring 2025 semester pilot, all courses that require courseware are participating in the Panther eBundle Program to provide their students with convenient access to affordable courseware. Students will be notified during their course registration if their course is participating in the program’s pilot. For participating courses, students’ required courseware will be prepared and provided to them by the first day of class.The courseware will be accessed through Moodle by day one of classes, and any physical materials will be available for pick up at the campus bookstore.

Student Information

All students registered for courses participating in the Panther eBundle Program pilot are automatically enrolled in the program. Students who do not wish to participate can opt out of participating in the Panther eBundle Program prior to the end of the add/drop period. If students wish to opt out, there is no penalty, but they must do so by the opt-out deadline and are responsible for sourcing and purchasing their materials independently.

Benefits for students include:

• Up to 60% lower than equivalent pricing for course materials. 
• The cost of the courseware is billed directly to a student’s account.
• Required courseware available on day one.
• Digital platforms offer key features such as highlighting, flash cards and note-sharing, leading to greater success in the course. 
• Reduced stress related to finding and purchasing the correct courseware.

Faculty Information

We are excited to introduce the new, Panther eBundle Program which brings students convenient access to affordable courseware. All courses that currently use courseware will be automatically enrolled in this program for Intersession 2025 and Spring 2025. This means that faculty instructing these courses come to class day one knowing that all their students automatically have the correct, required courseware in Moodle.

While all students are automatically enrolled in the program they may opt-out prior to the add/drop deadline each term. Opted-out students will be independently responsible for sourcing and purchasing their required courseware.

Benefits for faculty include:

• No restraint on academic freedom as instructors choose their content.
• Students come to class prepared, with the correct required courseware.
• Faculty can begin instructing on day 1 knowing all students have courseware access.
• Ability to access courseware directly in the Moodle learning management system – or LMS.
