Payment Schedule

All payments can be made on University Tickets.

  • Deposit: $1400 (a deposit is required to reserve your spot for the trip)
  • Payment 2: $900 due by May 15th
  • Payment 3: $750 due by June 15th
  • Payment 4: $700 due by July 15th

  • August 7th – Depart from New York to Vietnam
  • August 8th – Welcome Dinner
  • August 9th: Walking tour and Vietnamese Calligraphy Workshop
  • August 10th: Mekong Delta Excursion exploring the country’s most enchanting landscapes
  • August 11th: Service Project, Unveiling Saigon’s Chinatown
  • August 12th: Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh History Museum
  • August 13th: Head to Bangkok, Boat Tour of Chao Phraya River, Thonburi Klongs, and Wat Arun
  • August 14th: The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Pak Klong Talat
  • August 15th: Social Impact Experience, National Museum of Thailand, Thai Cooking Class
  • August 16th: Ayutthaya UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wat Chaiwatthanaram, Bang Pa-In
  • August 17th: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, free time
  • August 18th: Depart home

Requirements of Eligibility

  • Be a currently enrolled student at Adelphi University
  • Valid Passport (in your current possession) with an expiration after March 2026. You will not be able to enter the country if your passport expires before March 2026
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Clean conduct record

Dr. Sentwali Bakari

Vice President for Student Affairs

Dr. Bakari’s professional profile is marked by extensive international engagement, including his recognition as a Fulbright International Administrators Scholar to the United Kingdom, his service as Dean of Students for the Semester at Sea Shipboard Institute, his experience with education abroad in Denmark, and his proven ability to develop and co-lead experiential learning student travel initiatives to Egypt, Spain, Turkey, and Morocco.

Anna Zinko

Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs

Anna Zinko serves as the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at Adelphi University. With over a decade of experience in higher education, she has been deeply involved in student leadership, civic engagement, and global learning. A passionate advocate for experiential education, she has led student travel programs to destinations such as Guatemala, Costa Rica, Morocco, and beyond, creating opportunities for students to develop cross-cultural competencies and engage in service learning.
