We will be having a suturing workshop, where you’ll get the chance to practice essential suturing techniques utilizing a variety of dental and general suture pads. To start, we will discuss the importance of suturing in medicine and how technique impacts patient care. This will be followed by a demonstration of basic suturing techniques by our instructor, Professor McWeeney, who works in the Emergency Department. Afterward, students will have the opportunity to practice suturing themselves with the provided materials.
