Join the Resident Student Association and CRC for our first Incarcerated Humans event. 

This event will feature two panels:

  1. School-to-Prison Pipeline
  2. Re-entry to the Community

The panelists and performers are members of the intricate and complex community that is the incarceration system. We humbly invite them to our campus to explain their views and perspectives on various portions of the “criminal justice system”. 

Erica J. Gibson, a senior psychology major with a double minor in Ethics, Law, & Justice and Criminal Justice, will serve as the moderator for the panels. She is training to work in incarceration reform, and is currently completing her research project “Why Do People Recidivate?”

Incarcerated Humans will be hosted Thursday, March 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Adelphi University’s Garden City Campus. University Center Ballroom 203, 1 South Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530. 

The duration of each panel is 45 minutes followed by a 20 minute period for questions and answers. In between the two panels will be an Open Mic portion to additionally highlight creative mediums of .
