Adelphi University Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Campus Center (TRHT) invites our faculty and staff (both full-time and part-time) to join a conversation.

Overview

Adelphi’s Racial Healing Circle™ and its Intersections are designed for participants to share lived experiences by sharing narratives which help to broaden the understanding of diverse people, in relation to their intersecting identities and societal experiences.

Launched by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the TRHT practice seeks to help communities embrace racial healing and eliminate conscious and unconscious beliefs in a hierarchy of human value.

The TRHT framework is built on the pillars of narrative change (truth-telling), racial healing (trust and relationship building), separation, law and economy. The TRHT effort promotes inclusive and community-based healing activities and policy designs seeking to uplift communities.
