Date & Time: August 20 10:00am – 11:00am
Location: Alumnae Hall Room 132

In this workshop, we will guide you through the steps students must take to receive accommodations at Adelphi University, helping you understand the process and your role in it.

Navigating the process of requesting and providing accommodations for students with a learning disability diagnosis can be a bit overwhelming or confusing. Additionally, creating accessible digital content can often seem daunting for faculty. We will also explore strategies you can use to ensure all students have equitable access to content in your courses.

Facilitated by:

  • Jen Southard, Instructional Designer

  • Kevin Mobbs, Senior Instructional Designer

  • Grace Qi Hu, Accommodation and Service Coordinator
